2007 - Trinity Sports Complex, hockey arena at Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., ‘iced’ the competition in the Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association 2007 Building of the Year judging.

RJB Contracting, Inc., Torrington, Conn., in competition with contractors across the nation, took top honors for the project that also serves as an ice skating facility for the community.  The $16 million, 46,157 sq. ft. facility includes a 200x90-foot ice rink with a 152-foot clear span, bleachers, offices and meeting rooms. A 9,800 sq. ft. mezzanine houses a mechanical room.
